http://livingriver.eu/?p=577 City of Tacoma Public Works provided notification that they will be closing the intersection at N. 26th and Orchard at 8 AM on Friday, January 14, 2022, to do some asphalt work. They anticipate the intersection being closed until 5 PM and there are message boards on site to inform the traveling public of the closure.
This project will Monzón not be a permanent fix for the intersection.
Staff is currently working to coordinate with the construction work at Downing, but need to do some work now due to the condition of the intersection. Staff anticipates returning to the intersection this summer after the construction project completes some other asphalt work to finish out the intersection.
