Your North End Neighborhood Council has been very involved in reviewing, discussing, and commenting on the Home in Tacoma 2 proposal.
At our meeting on February 5, 2024, City of Tacoma Senior Planner, Elliott Barnett gave a presentation to explain the current proposal.
The NENC developed and submitted comments indicating our concerns and documenting our opposition to the proposal.
The NENC was also provided with comment letters written by Tacoma Urban Forrest Friends and the North Slope Historic District and has written letters in support of the positions taken by those two organizations:
