Tacoma Tree Foundation – Lowell Wise will be giving us an update on all of their plans for the Fall tree planting. 
 
Forest Health Watch – Joseph Hulbert, Program Director, will be giving a brief talk about the “Grit City Tree Count” that will begin next month\

NOTE: Our next meeting will be Monday, September 9 when Pierce County Councilor Robyn Denson will be joining us in addition to presentations about Tacoma Public Utilities Rate Setting, the City of Tacoma’s Participatory Budgeting Program and the Tacoma Community House.

Featuring artisan and vintage booths. Hosted by La Paloma Marketplace.
•  Proctor Food Fest, Sunday, August 25, 11:00-5:00, Food trucks, live entertainment and participation from local Proctor businesses.
 

  3rd Historic Cushman Street FairSaturday, Sept. 7th, 11:00-3:00, next to the Cushman and Adams substations on North 19thstreet. You and your friends and family are invited to enjoy a fun afternoon of music, community booths, children’s activities, food carts and also have a voice in the future plans for the unique historic Cushman and Adams sites.  Details found here:
