| Faced with a projected $40 million structural deficit in the City of Tacoma’s General Fund that is anticipated to grow in the upcoming biennium, City Manager Hyun Kim will describe and explain the comprehensive Roadmap to Recovery. He is responsible for managing day-to-day operations for over 4,000 employees and a $4.7 billion biennial budget. As the saying goes: “ The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago.
