The “Car Wash Rezone” was originally submitted by Brown Bear Car Wash located on 6th Avenue between South Howard and South Rochester Streets (in the Narrows Neighborhood Center). After review, the Planning Commission suggested a more focused scope for staff analysis. The proposal would allow “vehicle service and repair” in Neighborhood Mixed Use (NCX) areas with a conditional use permit, but not fronting designated core pedestrian streets.

Quit building structures that are overwhelming to other structures in our neighborhoods. Proctor City is horrible. It use to be a beautiful place now it’s shawdowed by nothing but oversized structures.
